China, Cuba, Chile, Romania and Japan condemn the terror attack on Homs Military Academy, express deepest condolences to Syria and families of the victims

Capitals – China on Saturday condemned the terror attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of the cadets of the Military Academy in Homs, expressing condolences to families of the victims.

Spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on the ministry’s website: “China strongly rejects all forms of terrorism, condemns this terrorist attack and expresses deep condolences to the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to the wounded.”

For its part, Cuba the terror attack and voiced solidarity with the Syrian people and government.

The Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla wrote on X platform that Cuba condemns the terrorist attack, voices full solidarity with the Syrian people and government and expresses deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

The Chilean Foreign Ministry, for its part, expressed deepest condolences to Syria over the victims of the terror attack on Military Academy in Homs.

The ministry said in a statement that the Chilean government concern over this attack and stressed its solidarity with the Syrian people.

Meantime, the Romanian Foreign Ministry expressed deepest condolences over the victims of the terror attack saying: “we express our deep concern and sorrow over the human losses in the attack on the Military Academy in Homs”. The ministry pointed out that Romania supports the Syrian people and calls for finding a political solution to the crisis in the country.

Moreover, the Japanese Embassy in Damascus expressed sadness over the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted the Military Academy in Homs.

“We are shocked by the drone attack that targeted Homs and claimed the lives of tens of people, including civilians and children,” the embassy said on X platform, adding that attacks on civilians are unacceptable and unjustified whatsoever.
