President Al-Assad receives a condolence telegram from President Putin regarding the martyrs of the terrorist attack on the Military College in Homs

Moscow (ST): President Bashar al-Assad received a cable of condolences from Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of military college officer students in Homs.

President Putin said in the cable published on the Kremlin website today: “We strongly condemn this brutal crime that resulted in victims, many of whom were women and children, and we hope that its perpetrators will receive the punishment they deserve,” expressing sincere condolences, sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.

President Putin affirmed his country’s determination to continue close cooperation with the Syrian state in combating all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
