Russian food aid distributed to people in the village of Zama in Latakia

Latakia,(ST)- The Russian coordination center at the Hmeimim base in Latakia on Wednesday distributed a new batch of food aid to people in the village of Zama in Jableh countryside.

Representative of the coordination center, Lieutenant Colonel Lebyukhin Alexei said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the aid distributed on Wednesday to the people in the village of Zama includes rice, sugar, flour and tea.

In turn, a number of citizens expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Russian Federation and its friendly people for standing by the Syrian people in their war against terrorism, and in the difficult economic conditions they suffer from as a result of the unjust economic siege on Syria.
