Russian Defense: 31 Ukrainian drones intercepted and destroyed over Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk provinces

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that air defense systems shot down 31 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk provinces.

The RT website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “Attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation were thwarted, as the air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk provinces.”

In a related context, the statement explained that “Russian Air Force aircraft thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to penetrate Russian territory, by a landing group that was heading towards the Trakhunkut region, northwest of the Crimean Peninsula, using a speedy military boat and 3 jet skis.”
