Ministry of Defense: The army targets terrorists’ headquarters in Idlib countryside, shoots down two drones in Aleppo northern countryside

Aleppo and Idlib  (ST): Units of the Syrian armed forces targeted terrorists’ headquarters and fortifications in Idlib countryside, eliminating a number of them. The army also shot down two drones in Aleppo northern countryside.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on its official Facebook page: As part of operations to monitor the movements of armed terrorist groups and respond to their repeated attacks on safe villages and towns and on the Syrian Arab Army points in Hama and Idlib countryside, units of armed forces operating in this direction carried out attacks targeting the terrorists’ headquarters, fortifications, and artillery positions, which led to the destruction of those headquarters and fortifications, in addition to the destruction of a number of mortars, and the killing and injury of a number of terrorists belonging to Ansar al-Tawhid terrorist organization.

 Among the dead terrorists were: the terrorist Misbah Othman and the terrorist Mufid Bayoush.

The Ministry indicated that two drones belonging to terrorist organizations were shot down in the northern countryside of Aleppo. They were trying to target the positions of the army forces in the aforementioned area.
