Syrian flag raised over the Syrian consulate headquarters in the Brazilian city of Campo Grande

Campo Grande – The Syrian Honorary Consul Gabriel Youssef in the Brazilian city of Campo Grande raised the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic over the consulate headquarters to keep it permanently lit in the sky of the city on an approximately 8-meter high metal flagpole.

In a statement on Tuesday, Youssef said that he is very proud to raise the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic in the sky of the Brazilian city, noting that the Syrian national flag can be seen from a far distance in and around the city.

He noted the love of Brazilian citizens for Syria and the Syrian people, as many of them expressed their approval for raising the flag of the homeland in the sky of their city. The event also received support from the police and the municipality of the city and the neighborhoods adjacent to the Syrian consulate building.
