Civil Society initiatives in Czech Republic call on the country’s government to cancel its meeting with Israeli occupation government

Civil society initiatives in Czech called on the country’s government to cancel its meeting scheduled for the ninth of this month with the Israeli occupation government in the Capital Prague.

The initiatives (Not in our Name, the International Solidarity Movement, Friends of Palestine, and For a Just peace in the Middle East) indicated in a joint declaration that the Czech’s government program confirms the country’s foreign policy’s endeavor to work within the frame of human rights, while the government intends to develop relations with the occupation government which international organizations confirm that it is an apartheid regime that violates human rights and  the United Nations Charter and its resolutions.

The initiatives noted that the International Criminal Court is pursuing “Israel” in the case of colonizing the Palestinian terrorists and committing war crimes, stressing that instead of receiving the Prime Minister of occupation government Benjamin Netanyahu in Prague, he should be placed on the Czech Foreign Ministry’s list of persons prohibited from entering the Czech Republic.

The initiatives stated that on the day the occupation government delegation arrived, they would organize a demonstration in Prague to protest the visit and reject the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians.
