Nasrallah: United States is the primary culprit involved in the Syrian refugee crisis

Beirut (ST) – Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah affirmed that the United States is the primary culprit involved in the Syrian refugee crisis, explaining the terrorist war, ignited by Washington, was behind the first wave of displacement and Caesar Act has been behind the renewed wave of Syrian displacement.

Marking Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) birth anniversary, Sayyed Nasrallah stated that the various political parties in Lebanon should form a parliamentary or ministerial committee that represents all the segments of the nation in order to cope with the Syrian refugees file.

Sayyed Nasrallah affirmed that Hezbollah will cooperate with the Lebanese government concerning the issue of the land borders and the foreign mediation aimed at tackling this file.

“Some are trying to link the land borders with the presidential file and with the resistance candidate for the presidency, Suleiman Franjieh, and this is baseless”, he added.

Nasrallah affirmed Lebanon’s right in its water and land, which is a right that cannot be bargained over in other files, pointing out that the resistance will be present to cooperate with the Lebanese state in liberating the land.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed the need to support the Palestinian people in the face of the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on them and their religious sanctities, most notably Al-Aqsa Mosque, in an attempt to impose new facts that would introduce decisive changes to the historical and legal reality of these sanctities and Judaize them.
