Gold medal for Syria in the World Shotokan Karate Championship

The Syrian team of martial arts in the sport “Shotokan Karate”, Anas Jarbou, won the gold medal in the individual fight in the 29th World Shotocan Karate Championship currently held in Greece.

The Vice President of the Martial Arts Federation Ziad Ibrahim stated that the player Anas Jarbou, by winning this championship, preserves his title for the second year in a row.

 Ibrahim pointed out that achieving the first position and winning the gold medal in the world championship is an important achievement for Syrian sports in general and for traditional karate sports in particular.
