CAIRO- Egypt’s Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi is visiting Algeria today for talks with his Algerian counterpart on Arab, African and international issues, including the situation in Syria and the need to attain a political solution that embodies the Syrian people’s aspirations and maintains the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian state, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman.
“Al-Ahram Gate” website quoted the spokesman Badr Abdul Ati as saying that Fahmi’s 2-day visit to Algeria comes within the framework of continuous consultations between the two countries.
The talks will also deal with the Palestinian cause as well as the critical situation in a number of African countries including South Sudan and Mali.
Key international issues like reforming the United Nations and disarmament will also be on the agenda of the talks.
