A lecture on the historical identity of ancient Levant is hold in Damascus

Damascus, (ST) – The historical identity of the ancient Levant was the title of a lecture delivered by Iraqi researcher Zaid Karim in Kafrsusa Cultural Center.

A lecture was held on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Kafr Sousse entitled “The Historical Identity of the Ancient Levant”, in which the Iraqi researcher Zaid Alwan Karim spoke about the many civilizations that passed through the ancient Levant, what distinguished them and what each one of them provided, and the first alphabet in history and astronomy.

Researcher Karim said that the Levant possesses a strategic location and historical depth through which civilizations and developments have succeeded each other, and left a great cultural impact that has proven its authenticity in history and the succession of times.

The Head of the Cultural Center in Kafrsusa, Elsa Qasseh, stressed the importance of holding such cultural events, as they result in cultural exchange between thinkers, researchers, and intellectuals from our Arab world.
