Social Affairs Ministry discusses strengthening cooperation with the Russian International Social Organization

Damascus (ST): Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Louay Al-Munjid, discussed with the head of the branch of the Russian International Social Organization in Syria, Engineer Michel Al-Tali, and members of the Board of Directors the reality of the Organization’s work and the services it provides.

During the meeting, the development and the expansion of the Organization’s services were reviewed according to need, in the light of the circumstances during the terrorist war that Syria was exposed to, and the move to implement more sustainable projects that achieve development in the targeted areas.

Minister Al-Munajid underlined the importance of developing a joint action plan and framing it with agreements in which its work mechanisms will be monitored and its outputs and impact evaluated in the targeted areas. He stressed the Ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to achieve societal benefit, which is considered the goal of the Ministry in all its partnerships with different parties.

For his part, the head of the Organization’s branch explained the importance of partnership with the ministry to achieve progress in the Organization’s work on the ground, and speed up the achievement of common goals.
