Tehran (ST): The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Islami warned of the dangers of the Israeli secret military nuclear program, which constitutes a permanent threat to international peace and security, calling on the International Atomic Energy Agency to take a serious stance regarding the terrorist operations of the Israeli occupation entity against Iranian scientists and peaceful nuclear institutions.
Islami said in a speech before the 67th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency: Iran, as the initiator of the initiative to make the Middle East region free of nuclear weapons, once again declares its serious concern about the secret nuclear military program of the Zionist entity, which refuses to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and also refuses to subject its facilities to the safeguards system monitor.
Islami stated that the Israeli occupation entity threatens security and stability in the region and also endangers the unity and reputation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Islami called on the Director of the International Agency and its General Secretariat to take a serious response to these terrorist operations of the occupying entity, which enjoys absolute support from some well-known countries and seeks to spread false information about the Iranian nuclear program to mislead and divert world public opinion away from its nuclear arsenal.
