Russia: Denmark refused to cooperate with Moscow in conducting an investigation into the bombing of the Nord Stream lines
Copenhagen (ST): Denmark has refused to conduct a joint investigation with Moscow into the Nord Stream gas pipeline bombing, and to fulfill requests for legal assistance in the case.
On the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines for exporting Russian gas to Europe, the Russian ambassador in Copenhagen, Vladimir Barbin, told RIA Novosti: “There has been no tangible progress, and there is still no cooperation with Denmark in investigating the explosions that targeted two gas pipelines.”
Barbin pointed out that “Denmark not only refused to conduct a joint investigation into these acts of sabotage, but also did not respond to most Russian requests for legal assistance in this criminal case.”
