Syria Condemned Beirut Explosion

DAMASCUS,(ST)_The Syrian Parliament condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing that targeted Lebanon’s stability in the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Syrian Parliament considered this terrorist crime a “command of the side that leads operations in al- Anbar region in Iraq and Syria”in order to compensate for the defeats of the Wahhabi gangs at the hands of the Syrian and Iraqi armies.

It pointed to the systematic attacks targeting Lebanon’s stability in general and its capital of resistance, in particular by car bombs and suicide bombers, a matter which confirms that “there are sides that want to involve Lebanon in great strife as punishment for the Lebanese army pursuit of al-Qaeda terrorist cells.”
It announced firm stand with the Arab people in Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt against the terrorist extremist ideology, calling on the Lebanese to unite in the face of the bloody terrorism which does not make a distinction between one political group and another.

“We face a common enemy in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia and Russia,”and even at the level of the region and the world, because this border-crossing deadly terrorism should be fought through joint international efforts, “the statement read.

The statement concluded by extending to the brotherly people in Lebanon and the families of the victims deepest condolences and profound sympathy, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
