The activities of the 21st session of the Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention kicked off this evening on the grounds of the Old Damascus Fair in Damascus, with the participation of 72 projects from Syria and Iraq.
The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in cooperation with the Ministries of Islamic Trusts, Higher Education, Scientific Research and Education, the Syrian Secretariat for Development, the Damascus Governorate, the Syrian Inventors Association, the Higher Commission for Scientific Research, the National Union of Syrian Students, the Revolutionary Youth Union, the Baath Vanguards Organization, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, and the General Exhibition Organization.
This year, the exhibition is distinguished by the presence of business incubators to help project owners apply and implement their ideas .The participating projects are divided into 17 projects from the organizations (Baath Vanguards and Youth of the Revolution), two projects for people with disabilities and army wounded, and 3 projects from Iraq, in addition to 50 individual projects.
The contributions include projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, alternative and environmental energies, technology, biotechnology and medicine.
