On September 24th, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al -Safadi discussed with his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir Abdullah developments in the situation in Syria.
The Jordanian Ammon Agency stated that Al -Safadi and Abd al -Lahyan discussed on the sidelines of the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York bilateral and regional issues, including the crisis in Syria and the Arab and international efforts to solve it according to the step -to-step plan and the Security Council Resolution 2254 in a way that preserves the unity, security and stability of Syria.
Safadi stressed Jordan’s keenness to end all tensions in the region and develop relations with Iran on the basis of mutual respect and good neighborhood, pointing to the importance of the security dialogue that the two countries started to achieve.
