Colombian President: The West forgets to protect Palestine but never forgets to  support the Kiev regime

New York (ST): Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed that Western countries exhibit double standards regarding global issues, as we see them forgetting to protect Palestine and its people in exchange for providing support to the Kiev regime.

TASS quoted Petro as saying in his speech before the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly: “The countries that are trying to drag Latin America into the conflict in Ukraine by sending weapons to Kiev are the ones who helped create this conflict,” explaining that America invited Latin America to send weapons, including sending people to the battlefield. They forgot that our countries were invaded several times by those who today talk about aid and weapons supplies, and they forgot that they invaded Iraq, Syria and Libya because of oil, and they forgot that Palestine must also be protected for the same reasons they claim   to protect the regime of President Vladimir Zelensky.”

Petro stated that the West “forgot that in order to achieve the sustainable development goals, all conflicts must be stopped, but they helped start one of them because that was in the interest of the global powers involved in the game of thrones, and because it was not in their interest to put an end to it.”
