Russian Defense Ministry: 19 violations recorded by the American coalition in Syria during the past 24 hours
Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that aircraft of the so-called “international coalition” led by the United States violated Syrian airspace 19 times during the past 24 hours.
Vadim Collet, Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center, stated in a press statement that fighter jets and drones belonging to the alleged coalition against terrorism led by the United States violated Syrian airspace in the Al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Jordanian border 19 times during the past 24 hours.
The statement added: “Four pairs of F-35 aircraft, two pairs of F-16 aircraft, two pairs of Rafale fighter aircraft, in addition to three MQ-1C multi-mission drones violated Syrian airspace in the Al-Tanf area through which International Airlines pass.
According to the Russian military official, 18 violations were reported by the aforementioned coalition of non-confliction agreements concluded since 2019, related to coalition drone flights in Syria.
