Slovak magazine: Damascus and Aleppo are essential destinations for those searching for antiquities dating back to ancient times
The Slovakian magazine Pluska confirmed that there are dozens of archaeological sites in the world where life has been vibrant for thousands of years, but the most prominent and most cosmopolitan of them are located in Damascus and Aleppo.
The magazine added in its report: Human monuments in Damascus were recorded before 9000 BC, where life continues to this day, making it the oldest capital in history, and a destination for researchers, and for everyone who loves to see the fingerprints of history among its ancient streets and alleys.
The magazine pointed out that humans also settled in Aleppo 6,000 years before AD, pointing out that the city, which witnessed a golden period during the growth of the Silk Road between the 12th and 15th centuries, is still teeming with life today and filled with impressive archaeological monuments.
