Occupied Al-Quds- (ST) – The number of Palestinian female prisoners in the Israeli occupation detention centers has risen to 37, suffering from extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.

According to Wafa News Agency, The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the occupation forces transferred Aya Al-Khatib from the village of Arar in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 from home detention, which lasted for about two years, to a detention center.

The Club pointed out that the occupation detained Al-Khatin in February 2020, and she spent about two years in  the occupation detention centers, then she was transferred to home detention which continues until today.

The Club stated that among the female prisoners are 13 mothers, a girl, and 9 wounded women  with difficult health condition.

Prisoner Israa Jaabis suffers from severe deformities in her body due to serious burns, as a result of the occupation forces firing bullets at her vehicle at the moment of her arrest in 2015, which caused the explosion of a gas cylinder that was in her vehicle.
