Austria arrests a terrorist planning to bomb in Vienna

On September 17th,Austrian authorities arrested a terrorist from ISIS on charges of planning an attack on the capital, Vienna.

The Ministry of Interior explained that the terrorist published a picture of himself wearing ISIS clothes, and carrying a fighting knife in his hand, while he was greeting the organization with the other hand.

According to the Austrian news agency, the young man on social media confirmed that he was ready to carry out an attack, and during his interrogation he mentioned that he was preparing a suicide bombing attack in Vienna.

In turn, the Director of Public Security Franz Rove said in a press statement: “There is an ease in accessing extremism on the Internet, and that the perpetrators have become younger and do not hide secretly their desire to wage attacks.”
