A demonstration in Czech Republic demanding an end to Ukrainian support

Prague, (ST) – Thousands of Czech citizens demonstrated in Prague against their country’s government in protest of its support for Ukraine and its lack of concern for its citizens.

According to AP Agency, the Pro Party organized the protest in which more than 100,000 people participated, according to what was reported on its website, while the demonstrators demanded that the government of Prime Minister Peter Fiala resign. They denounced the economic slowdown in the European Union member states.

The demonstrators called on their government to stop supporting Ukraine only, and start caring for its citizens.

Fiala’s five-party coalition government has provided Ukraine with significant humanitarian and military aid since the start of the military operation in Ukraine.
