The child Mohab Ahmed Al-Miqdad from the town of Ghassam in the eastern countryside of Daraa has a promising talent in mental arithmetic, which qualified him to achieve distinguished results in local and international competitions.
Mohab’s father told SANA that his son participated last year in Damascus Mental Arithmetic Championship and won the second position for the first level and then in the Dubai Electronic Championship (Quantum) in 2023, where he qualified for the final qualifiers.
He added that Mohab won the fourth place at the world level and recently won the third place in Damascus Championship for the second level.
The child Mohab stressed his interest in mental arithmetic, which helped him to activate his memory, referring to the support of his family along with perseverance and the efforts of his teacher, Muhammad Kalash, which resulted in achieving advanced positions.
The talented Syrian child affirmed his ambition to develop his skills to achieve advanced positions with creativity and excellence in all fields.
According to his teacher Muhammad Kalash , the child Mohab was able to solve 200 exercises within nine minutes to be honored by “Educate Me” Foundation with a gold medal, stressing that the child’s training courses continue through solving daily question forms and participating in competitions with the aim of supporting mental abilities.
