The Palestinian Prisoners Club: The health of the 3 hunger striking prisoners is in danger

The Palestinian Prisoners Club has warned of the deteriorating health condition of the 3 hunger striking prisoners, noting that their health is becoming more dangerous with the passage of time there are fears that they may lose their lives at any time.

The media officer of the Prisoners Club Amani Sarahna told Wafa reporter that the prisoners Kayed Al Fasfous ,Sultan Khalouf, who have been on strike for 40 days, and the prisoner Maher Al Akhras who has been on hunger strike for 20 days, are suffering from very difficult conditions, as signs of extreme fatigue and exhaustion began to appear on them, especially the prisoner Khallouf who vomits blood and suffers from weakness in his sight, severe headache, dizziness and difficulty to stand.

Sarahna warned that the occupation authorities are practicing a policy of slow killing against the striking prisoners and it is the same policy, which led to the martyrdom of the prisoner Kheder Adnan on the second of last May after a hunger strike that lasted for 87 days.

Sarahna stressed the need to put pressure on the occupation authorities to transfer the striking prisoners to a hospital in the West Bank to receive the medical care and sufficient attention, indicating that the Prisoner’s Club is communicating with international human rights institutions for this purpose.
