Beirut (ST): Five Lebanese soldiers were injured as a result of renewed clashes in Ain Al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near the city of Sidon in south Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Lebanese army command as saying in a statement: “3 shells fell in two centers belonging to the army units deployed in the vicinity of the camp, which resulted in the injury of 5 soldiers, one of them in critical condition, and they were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.”
The camp has witnessed intermittent clashes since the thirtieth of last July, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people.
