Three people killed, other injured in renewed clashes in Ein El-Hilweh camp in South Lebanon

Clashes between fighters from the Palestinian Fateh movement and gunmen in Ein El-Hilweh camp in South Lebanon renewed on Saturday claiming the lives of three people and injuring scores others.

Information obtained said that the shells fired during the clashes targeted areas outside the clashes axes reaching Sidon city. Shrapnel of a sell hit a car at the southwestern side of the city, injuring a man. Also, an Egyptian worker was injured in his leg and he was transferred to the hospital.

The Lebanese security forces in Sidon announced that they shifted the traffic in some roads for safety purposes.

Over the past week, the Ein El-HIlweh camp witnessed clashes that killed 4 people on July 30.
