A Brazilian tourist group visits the ancient city of Busra al-Sham

Daraa (ST): A Brazilian group of doctors, researchers and businessmen visited the ancient city of Busra al-Sham in the Daraa countryside, to learn about its civilization and historical monuments.

Maria, who is interested in Byzantine history and global antiquities, noted in a statement to news correspondent that international and humanitarian organizations should pay attention to the city because it represents a unique succession of civilizations and a blend of the present and the past, as she found Byzantine, Roman, Hellenistic, and Arab history in Busra.She expressed her admiration for the theater, the art of its construction, and its resistance to natural factors.

Carlos, a retired professor, expressed his admiration for the city of Busra, and described its amphitheater as a unique architectural masterpiece. He said: “Busra is a museum that includes many rare icons that must be taken care of, nurtured and preserved.”

Paolo, director of a tourism company, stressed the necessity of visiting Syria and its antiquities, as they represent a true witness to the emergence of civilization from there, as evidenced by a rare succession of multiple civilizations on its land.
