Hundreds of families displaced as a result of fighting between the SDF militia and tribal forces

Deir Ezzor, (ST) – Hundreds of families were displaced from the areas controlled by the separatist SDF militia in the Syrian Al-Jazira Region to the areas where the Syrian Arab Army is deployed in Deir Ezzor to escape the ongoing fighting between the militia and tribal forces.

SANA’s correspondent stated that more than two thousand families crossed the Euphrates River to the areas where army units were deployed as a result of continuing clashes between the “SDF” militia linked to the American occupation on the one hand, and the so-called “Deir Ezzor Military Council” composed of tribal forces.

In this context, the Deputy Head of the Executive Office of Deir Ezzor Governorate, Hamoud Al-Sheikh said in a statement to SANA that the concerned authorities in the governorate, in cooperation with civil society organizations and the local community, are securing the needs of the expatriate families and providing what they need in terms of health and medical care.
