Russian forces destroy 4 war boats carrying Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that aircraft belonging to the Russian Black Sea Fleet destroyed 4 American-made war-boats carrying Ukrainian forces that were heading towards the Tarkhankut region, west of the Crimean Peninsula, today.

The ministry’s statement, according to Russia Today, said: “Naval aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet in the northwestern part of the Black Sea destroyed four American-made military boats carrying Ukrainian landing groups that were on their way towards the Tarkhankut region.”

The ministry said: “Russian air defense systems intercepted two Ukrainian drones in the Kursk region and over the Black Sea near the Crimean Peninsula.”

Kiev began what it calls a counterattack on June 4, on the axes of southern Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Artyomovsk.

Ukrainian and Western officials admitted that the counterattack faced successive setbacks, due to the fortified Russian defenses and the efficiency of the Russian military and soldiers.
