Raisi: Respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries in the region is the way to confront terrorism

Tehran (ST): Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stressed that respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries in the region is the most effective way to confront terrorism.

During his meeting  with the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Raisi said: “The effective exercise of any government’s national sovereignty over all its territory is the best way to prevent terrorist activities that are anti-security.”

Raisi underlined the necessity of confronting the foreign presence in the region, including the Caucasus, calling for resolving issues through cooperation between all countries of the region.
