Prime Minister discusses with Chargé d’affairs of the Indian Embassy ways to strengthen Syrian-Indian relations
On August 31st, Prime Minister Hussein Arnous discussed with the Chargé d’Affairs at the Indian Embassy in Damascus Vijay Vimal Pandey ways to strengthen Syrian-Indian relations in all fields.
The two sides also discussed the importance of activating the work of joint government committees and enhancing trade exchange and exchange of goods and materials needed by the markets of the two countries.
Engineer Arnous pointed out what Syria is being exposed to in terms of the theft of its oil and wheat resources on the Syrian Al-Jazeera region by the occupation and its affiliated militias, and what the national economy is suffering as a result of the unjust siege, which has had a negative impact on meeting the citizen’s basic needs.
Engineer Arnousexpressed appreciation for India’s positions in support of Syria and its provision of aid to those affected by the earthquake.
In turn, the Chargé d’Affairs at the Indian Embassy reiterated his country’s support for Syria and its continued support for the Syrian people.
He pointed to the strength of bilateral relations and the endeavor to develop them in a way that serves the common interest.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Cabinet, Dr. Qais Muhammad Khadr.
