Today, the “Loyalty to the Sons of Martyrs” initiative was launched in Tartous Governorate.It was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the province, in cooperation with the Dar Al-Aman School for the Children of Martyrs and Al-Areen Humanitarian Foundation.
The initiative is held in partnership between the Ministries of Islamic Trusts (Awqaf), Social Affairs and Labor, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection.
The initiative included lyrical artistic paragraphs by the Pioneers of Authenticity Band led by the artist Ghiath Kaber, with singing and solo playing by a number of students Dar Al-Aman School, and honoring three of the top students.
The initiative provides school uniforms and school bags for all the children of the martyrs in Tartous governorate in their homes, from the first to the third grade.It also serves as a good market for stationery and school supplies, for food products, and to launch training and rehabilitation courses in various fields for the families of the martyrs.
The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Sattar al-Sayyid, noted in a press statement the role of social and economic activities that aim today with all their capabilities through these important charitable initiatives to care for the families of the martyrs.
In turn, the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Mohsen Abdul Karim Ali, stressed the need for cooperation between the various government agencies, the civil society and all economic and social groups, to be one productive hand.
The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, LouayAl-Munajjid, pointed out that the work at this stage is based on the spirit of participation, and that joint initiatives with other ministries will be launched successively.
The head of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mazen Hammad, said: launching this initiative comes in light of the difficult circumstances that we are all going through, and therefore the initiatives will be continued, especially targeting the families of the martyrs.
The ministers, the governor of Tartous, Firas Al-Hamid, and the secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch, Muhammad Hussein, were briefed on the training workshop that was launched today at the Cultural Center, for training on the professions of sewing and making accessories, which is the first of the training and rehabilitation courses targeting the families of the martyrs.
