President Al-Assad issues legislative decrees granting compensation for the nature of work to segments of permanent and contract employees

President Bashar Al-Assad issued Legislative Decree 27 granting compensation for the nature of work at the rate of 50 percent of the monthly salary for each of the engineers, veterinarians, geologists and geophysicists working permanently or under contract.

President Al-Assad also issued Legislative Decree No. 28 granting each of (radiology technicians – anesthesia technicians – prosthetic limb technicians) permanent and contracted workers in hospitals affiliated to the Ministries of “Defense, Interior, Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Health” compensation for the nature of work at a rate of 50% of the monthly salary.

President Al-Assad also issued Legislative Decree No. 29, which provided for the amendment of Article /106/ of the Personnel System of the Syrian Airlines Corporation issued by Legislative Decree No. /35/ of 1979 and its amendments. The decree provided for granting the chief pilot, his assistants, each of the examinee pilots, instructors, pilots in command, and co-pilots a monthly compensation at a rate of the monthly wage fixed on the date of performance of the work in return for carrying out the burdens of this job.
