13 Syrian teams have qualified for 2023 ACPC Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship

Damascus – 13 teams representing Syrian public and private universities have qualified for the 2023 ACPC Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship, due to be held in Egypt in November.

According to Damascus University facebook page, the universities of Damascus, Aleppo, Al-Baath and the Syrian Virtual University will be represented by two students for each, while the Tishreen University, the Higher Institute for Science and Technology, the Private national University, the Private Arab International University and Al-Shahba University will be represented by one student for each.

For his part, Representative of the Regional Director of the Competition in the Arab World and North Africa Tariq Barakat said that the Syrian universities have excelled over many countries in ACPC competitions, pointing out that the Syrian teams have achieved scientific gains both at the local and Arab levels, hailing the efforts exerted by Damascus University in this regard.
