A European tourist group visits the ancient landmarks of Busra Al-Sham

Daraa (ST): A tourist group from different European nationalities visited the city of Busra al-Sham in the eastern countryside of Daraa to see the archaeological sites and historical monuments there. The tour included a visit to the ancient theater and castle, and the Church of Saints Sergio and Bacchus.In statements to news reporter, Mark from Germany confirmed that what he saw differed from what he heard, expressing his admiration for the building that characterizes Bosra Castle and its amphitheater, and that it is a model of fine architecture.

Julianne, an Italian ballet dancer, expressed her hope that she would perform a show of ballet dancing on the old theatre, referring to the cultural value that distinguished the theater throughout the ages, calling for security and stability in Syria.

Van Hoeven, a Dutch cinematographer, stated that he will design a photo booklet of the antiquities in Busra in a modern way, to introduce the world to the value they enjoy, and he considered that they are a treasure for every photographer in the world.

In turn, the Director of Tourism in Daraa, Yasser Al-Saadi, referred to the Directorate’s efforts to encourage tourism internally and externally and to provide all facilities to reach the tourist’s introduction to cultural values and archaeological sites in our country.
