The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo on Thursday affirmed that the United Nations is concerned about the repeated Ukrainian attacks on towns deep in Russia, and near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
Sputnik quoted DiCarlo as saying in a briefing during a Security Council meeting: “We are concerned about the repercussions of the bombing of Russian border neighborhoods and drone attacks on civilians deep inside Russia, including Moscow,” stressing that the attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure are unjustified and they are prohibited by international law.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced yesterday that Russia’s actions in Ukraine aim at one thing, which is to end the war waged by the Kiev regime against civilians with the support of the West.
