Promoting Palestinian media in Syria discussed

DAMASCUS, (ST) – “we are faultlessly ready to revamp and enhance the Palestinian media in Syria .the Palestinian cause is the central cause of the Syrian people, “underscoredInformation Minister Omran al-Zou’bi.

Al-Zou’bi’s remark was made during a meeting he held on Sunday with Saturday with the  Palestine News Agency (WAFA) Director General Riyadh al-Hasan who was accompanied with WAFA Informatics Director Khaled Darwish.

Talks dealt with consolidating the  Palestinian media in Syria.

He called on Palestinian mass media to make use of the material, documentaries and news broadcast by Syrian national media which depict what is happening in Syria honestly and objectively.

Al-Hasan,for his part,a request submitted to the information minister on  activating  the WAFA offices  and the Palestinian TV and radio to inform Palestinians, Arab and everyone who follows Palestinian media about what is actually happening in Syria.

The Palestinian delegation also met of the General Establishment of Radio and Television Director General RamezTerjman and discussed cooperation mechanisms and ways  to improve the performance of Palestinian media in Syria.
