On August 21st, the Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash, discussed with the Algerian Ambassador to Damascus Kamal Bouchama ways to enhance health cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Al-Ghabbash praised the deep relations between the two countries and Algeria’s positions, especially the support it provided to Syria during the earthquake disaster, by sending humanitarian and medical aid and relief teams.
Al-Ghabbash indicated the importance of working on exchanging scientific experiences through the exchange of doctors’ visits between the two countries, in addition to joint coordination regarding the pharmaceutical industries.
In turn, the Algerian ambassador expressed his country’s desire and willingness to enhance joint work in the field of training human cadres with the aim of exchanging experiences, especially that Syria has medical cadres with great experience.
