The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission: The occupation has demolished 3 schools since the beginning of the year and 53 others are threatened

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in protecting the future of Palestinian children in light of the Israeli occupation forces’ violation of their most basic rights, which guarantee them the right to education and the right to live a healthy and sound childhood.

The head of the Commission, Moayed Shaaban, explained that the occupation authorities have demolished three schools in the West Bank since the beginning of this year, and there are more than 53 schools threatened with demolition, pointing out that the students of these schools are still living until this moment in a difficult reality and an unknown fate in the future of the educational process that begins in soon.

Shaaban pointed out that the occupation forces deliberately carry out demolitions, especially schools, shortly after each visit of solidarity by ambassadors and consuls of countries of the world, disregarding all humanitarian, political and moral considerations.
