Austrian Arab Friendship Society: The presence of American forces in Syria is a violation of international law

The Austrian-Arab Friendship Association affirmed that the presence of US forces in northeastern Syria is a complete violation of international law, noting that this presence aims to support terrorists and steal oil wealth.

The head of the association, Fritz Edlinger, said in the monthly political bulletin issued by the association: The American forces occupy large parts of northeastern Syria, and de facto allow the activities of terrorist organizations, whose attacks have recently increased but are being ignored by the West.

Edlinger explained that American oil companies, under the protection of American forces, steal Syrian oil and snuggle it out of the country, and after more than eleven years of war and terrorism and the displacement of millions of people, it is time to learn lessons from the completely failed policy, but it seems that this does not concern the West.

It is noteworthy that the American occupation forces, illegally present in the Syrian Jazira, are partnering with the “Qasad” (SDF) militia associated with the US to plunder the Syrian national wealth and strategic crops such as oil, wheat and barley, depriving the Syrian people of them on the one hand, and harassing the people on the other hand by forcing them to push their children to join the ranks of the separatist militia, within the framework of the systematic occupation policy to prolong the crisis in Syria.
