Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Israeli occupation authorities closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khalil (Hebron) to Palestinian worshipers.
The Director of the Mosque, Ghassan Al-Rajabi told Wafa News Agency that the occupation forces closed the mosque to worshipers and opened it completely to the settlers’ incursions. He added that the closure began at 10:00 pm yesterday and will continue for 24 hours.
Al-Rajabi pointed out that this closure is a crime against the Ibrahimi Mosque and a blatant violation of it, stressing that the mosque is the exclusive right of Muslims alone.
Occupation forces arrest 19 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank
In another development, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians in separate areas in the occupied West Bank, and two off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip.
WAFA reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Jenin, Shuafat refugee camp, the towns of Anata, Al-Eizariya, Abu Dis and Silwan in Jerusalem, Surda in Ramallah, Beit Fajjar in Bethlehem, Balaa and Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem, and arrested nineteen Palestinians.
Occupation navy arrested two fishermen off the Al-Waha area in the northern Gaza Strip and seized their boat.
Yesterday, the occupation forces arrested eighteen Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and two off the coast of the Gaza Strip.
