Russian air defenses destroy 3 Ukrainian drones in Kaluga province

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian drones in the sky of the Kaluga region, southwest of the capital, Moscow.

The RT website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “Air defense systems thwarted at dawn today the Kiev regime’s attempt to launch a terrorist attack using three drones on targets in the Kaluga region,” stressing that the accident did not result in casualties or material damage.

Over the past few days, Russian forces have downed a number of Ukrainian drones in Belgorod, Kaluga and Kursk provinces.
