The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to protect Palestinian educational institutions

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST): The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community and the relevant United Nations organizations, led by UNESCO, to shoulder their responsibilities in providing protection for the Palestinian educational institutions and their teaching staff, and for students, and to guarantee their right to freedom, movement, education, and access to their studies in safety and peace.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the storming of settler gangs, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, into the schools of Ras al-Tin and al-Badawi, east of Ramallah in the West Bank, and the destruction of their contents, in a serious escalation of settler attacks and their targeting of Palestinian educational institutions that are subjected to the worst forms of ethnic cleansing, as is the case in Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the storming of the occupation forces and settlers into the town of Sebastia and its archaeological area in the city of Nablus in the West Bank, and the assault on Palestinians and the shooting and gas bombs at them in an attempt to seize the archaeological area.
