National Earthquake Center: 7 weak and medium tremors recorded over the past 24 hours

The National Earthquake Center on Thursday announced that 7 tremors of medium and weak intensity were recorded during the past 24 hours.

In a statement to SANA, the center said that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded 7 tremors, two in Liwa Iskenderun, the highest of which is at magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale, and 3 in Turkey, the highest of which ranged between magnitude 2.6 and 4.4.

The center added that the stations also recorded an earthquake at a magnitude of 2.1 in northern Lebanon, and an earthquake at a magnitude of 2.5 in Cyprus.
