Minister of Industry discusses ways to re-operate Hama Tire Company

Hama, (ST) – The tour of the Minister of Industry Abdel Qader Joukhadar in Hama governorate on Wednesday focused on the possibility reoperating Hama Tire General Company, which has been suspended from work since 2011, through contracting with local investors or with friendly countries.

The General Manager of the Tire Company, Azzam Razzouk said that the company stopped working 12 years ago for financial reasons, and due to the lack of spare parts for the machines operating the production lines. He indicated that the ministry is looking for partners with good capabilities and technological experience in order to reoperate the company and help it start production that meet the needs of the local market.
