Damascus, (ST) – The Syrian Automobile Club in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, will hold the final stage of the Syrian Speed and Drift Championship next Friday at the club’s track in Saydnaya area in Damascus Countryside .
The race Director, Wassim Al-Hamid indicated in a statement to SANA that the organizing committee of the championship has completed all the organizational and technical procedures required to hold the final stage. He stressed the keenness of the club’s management to ensure that the championship’s conclusion is distinguished and will meet the aspirations of automobile races fans in Syria, which is developing year after year.
Al-Hamid added: The great gain achieved for motorsport in Syria this year is the qualification of a large number of new organizers and volunteers, who have proven good competence during the previous stages in all the specializations and tasks assigned to them.
Ahmed Krizan leads the drift races with 86 points, followed by Mohamed Krizan with 61 points, then Amr Hamsho with 55 points, followed by Qais Ayoub with 36 points, then Maher Fawal with 31 points.
The speed ranking is led by Ibrahim Zawit with 106 points, followed by Muath Al-Qadri with 90 points, then Mazen Al-Najjar with 86 points, and followed by Muath Mahaini with 75 points, then Abdul Rahman Al-Sayyad with 66 points.
Raghda Sawas
