The Russian lunar spacecraft launched before the middle of this month

Moscow (ST): Russia revealed the launch of the Luna-25 spacecraft, which is designed to study the moon, and is scheduled to launch into space in the first half of this month.

Novosti agency stated that the 11th of this August was set as the date for the launch of the Luna-25 spacecraft from the Russian Vostochny space airport, and that the reserve date for the launch will be on the 12th of the same month.

After launching the vehicle-carrying missile, the accelerator unit on board is supposed to carry the vehicle to a specific path, and after its separation from the accelerator unit, it will fly in space, heading towards the moon, to revolve around it for several days, and then land on its surface.
