Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that 5 low-intensity earthquakes were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The Center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded, as of 6:20 am today, 5 earthquakes, including one in Turkey measuring magnitude 2.9 on the Richter scale, and two tremors in Iskenderun at a magnitude of 2.2.
The Center added: The stations also recorded two tremors on the Syrian coast measuring magnitude 1.9 on the Richter scale, the first is 37 km north of Lattakia, and the second is 25 km south of Tartous.
