Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed his country’s welcome for any efforts aimed at achieving a stable and just peace regarding the Ukrainian settlement and resolving the crisis in it.
Lavrov said in an interview with Russia’s International Life Magazine today: “Justice cannot be achieved in any dispute without ensuring unwavering adherence to all rights of national minorities,”, stressing that “this commitment is particularly important for Ukraine.”
Lavrov pointed out that all Western initiatives for the Ukrainian settlement aim at imposing the so-called Zelensky formula and returning the situation in Ukraine to the 1991 borders, and this will not lead to the success of any settlement.
